History
In the early 80s, Lenna Lovette, a huge 8mm film buff, decided to investigate a new concept, video. She researched the up and coming new way of storing memories and ordered equipment from Texas. When the three piece camera, tuner, and recorder arrived, she began learning all aspects of videotaping.
The company began when a friend, seeing Lenna's enthusiasm for video, asked if she would videotape their wedding. A verbal contract was agreed on and the wedding was taped. Since that time, 77 has been involved in numerous productions across the East and has grown from a single tube camera to a complete digital multi camera studio with the capability if on-location shooting.
In 1989, the Knoxville News Sentinel featured a full page article on the company touting that 77 (at that time Memories Forever Video) was the only company in the area to fill a growing niche, taping events for the consumer.
77 Productions has been in business since 1984. Over the last twenty plus years, the company has been contracted for work across Tennessee and the South.
